ADULT RESIDENTIAL

Recovering individuals face decisions calling for courage and strength. They need a place to go that will give the encouragement and support needed to make the transition from a life of despair to a life of hope.

Jackson Recovery Centers has established two safe, structured and supportive environments for people who have completed primary treatment. These facilities provide an opportunity to live independently while working toward happy and sober lifestyles.

Our residents learn how to develop the necessary skills for living a productive, recovery lifestyle. Focusing on family, community and job responsibilities, each resident is guided through these aspects of recovery:

  • spiritual enhancement (12 steps)
  • relationship skills
  • assertiveness training
  • family of origin issues
  • mental health/depression/eating disorders
  • coping techniques
  • day-to-day living skills
  • continuing education
  • job responsibility/budget
  • parenting

When a resident is ready to move from residential services, continuing care services are available according to desire and need. Working with a therapist, each resident develops a personal plan for success that involves:

  • living arrangements
  • education/vocation
  • job/finances
  • recreation/socialization
  • 12-step group involvement
  • relationships

Many health insurance plans cover the cost of treatment. Financial arrangements and assistance are available for qualified individuals.
