PREVENTION & EDUCATION
At Jackson Recovery Centers, we believe education is the key; prevention is the goal. Our Prevention/Education services provide programming designed to meet individual needs. We have programs geared toward preschool, elementary, secondary or college level students. And, we have culturally specific programs(including those targeted for Spanish-speaking communities).
These include:
- school programs covering classroom training, teacher in-service, school assistance and district needs
- professional workshops designed for businesses, organizations and community groups
- family education series designed to answer the questions and concerns of families affected by various addictive behaviors
- a resource library with a variety of substance abuse and addiction materials

- fetal alcohol syndrome/fetal alcohol effects
- HIV/AIDS
- inhalant abuse
- nicotine abuse
- substance abuse signs and symptoms
